We absolutely love the pictures Lydia took of our little guy and growing family. She was thoughtful about every part of this process, from the props, to the timing, to our wardrobes, all to make sure she captured the sweetest moments in the best way possible. We were blown away by how skilled she was at posing our tiny baby so gently and keeping him asleep during the session. She really made us feel so at ease the entire time and the results are photos we will treasure forever. We cannot recommend Lydia highly enough. She is a truly talented photographer and a wonderful person to work with!
Lydia was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was flexible, timely, and so sweet...the photos we received back from my daughter's reception were absolutely gorgeous and I’m so thankful that we have these pieces of art for years to come! We enjoyed working with her so much that we have also since hired her to take our family photos this fall. Lydia was wonderful to work with! We had the pleasure of having her photograph our engagement, maternity, and now newborns photos. She is professional while still very personable. With her background as a pediatric nurse practitioner, we had complete confidence in her during our newborn shoot. The pictures turned out absolutely beautiful! Lydia was extremely professional, sweet, and has a natural eye for thoughtful family positions without seeming forced. She did our maternity, newborn and 1yr old family pictures, we were that in love with her work. She helped us at each phase with what to expect, wardrobe questions, being prepared with all weather/props and locations - Especially for newborn photography, as a first-time mom, her pediatric background made it so effortless to capture photos of our precious little one. Not to mention ease when coming over for our session. She's so patient, talented, and creative we couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly, highly recommend her work! Will treasure our photos for a lifetime.
We used Lydia Esther Photography for our maternity and newborn sessions. Lydia went above and beyond to make sure we were prepared for each session and gave us peace of mind that our expectations would be met. Her communication was very professional and warm, allowing us to relax and be ourselves. Our over friendly dog and uncooperative baby were no match for Lydia. She was able to work with (or around) them to get great shots. We couldn't have been more pleased with the photos we received and will be treasured memories of those precious moments in our lives
Lydia was more than a pleasure to work with. She was on the ball for the entire day. We were overwhelmed when we saw our pics, they were even better than we knew they were going to be. Lydia is professional, down to earth, and communicated well with everyone at our ceremony. With a lot of small children and loud people in our families, she was able to keep everyone’s attention and got all the pics on our list in the time allotted at the venue. She even remembered and suggested several pictures that we didn’t even think of! She captured all the big moments on the biggest day of our lives and because of that we will have great and lasting memories of that day forever! If you need someone who will cater her work to what you ask for, as well as add those extra special touches to your photos, no matter the occasion, I would HIGHLY recommend Lydia! Lydia has photographed some of the best moments of my life and I can't recommend her enough! She's passionate about what she does and she brings that enthusiasm to her photo shoots. She's fun to hang out with and knows how to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. She's incredible with children, from newborn and on, and she can somehow find ways to photograph the most amazing moments with them. And she's been able to capture every vision I've brought to her, no matter what outlandish Pinterest board I've been looking at. I love working with Lydia and you will too!
We have a loud and boisterous family where wiggles from grand-children make setting up for photographs nearly impossible. Lydia corralled all of us into wonderful vignettes and compositions where we were just amazed at both her creativity and just the way she made us all comfortable and happy and fun! Thank you Lydia! Lydia was very courteous and super professional about the pandemic and in-home photography. She was very patient with the baby (and us first-time parents). She had lots of props and wraps to use and made the decision making really easy for us, she knew where and how to take the pictures in the house... Lydia took photos for me and my extended family. Not only did she take fantastic photos (!!), but she also helped coordinate the time, location, and outfits for the whole family! We particularly loved the informal photos she took in-between formal poses, and we highly recommend Lydia for your next shoot!
